Kanab , Utah is one of the most central points from which to base tours of the Grand Circle , a large concentration of national parks and scenic wonders found in southern Utah and Northern Arizona . Grand Circle tours originating from Kanab include Zion National Park (40 miles away), Bryce Canyon National Park (70 miles away), Lake Powell (70 miles) and the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park (80 miles away). It takes at least a week to explore the region sufficiently. While staying in the area, do not settle for ordinary motel accommodations.
